WHAT IS SWEEPS®?

 

SWEEPS® is a comprehensive up-to-date computer system designed specifically to meet the program and management information needs for Environmental Health Agencies and Managers in a cost effective and timely manner.

 

SWEEPS® uses a Personal Computer, or PEN computer for Field Inspections, recording daily activity, maintaining master records and for local report generation.  The system offers the ease of menu driven programs in addition to local reporting, billing and permitting capabilities.

 

Inventoried establishments are maintained locally in interactive master files on a PC. Updates and additions to the file can be done as they occur. The master file records can be inquired by site name, establishment ID number, or site address.

 

SWEEPS® includes a comprehensive Permit Billing, Accounts Receivable, Invoicing, Non-Permit Billing and Permit Printing System.

 

Establishments can be billed for annual permits or for non-recurring items, such as re-inspections and plan checks.  You can print customized permits for the establishments billed from the invoicing system.

 

Accounts Receivable reports and inquiries based on site name, address, site type, or invoice number are available.  Aging reports are standard.

 

ESTABLISHMENT TRACKING

 

 

The ESTABLISHMENT TRACKING - M.F.R. (Master File Records) Module of SWEEPS® is used to track establishments that require permitting and need to be inspected on a scheduled basis.

 

Custom data validation windows are incorporated for accurate data entry.

 

Establishment data is organized by program, e.g.  Child Care, Food, Housing, Pools, etc.

 

 

AUTOMATED FIELD INSPECTION SYSTEM®

 

With the AFIS® Module inspectors can use either a ‘Pen’ based computer or a ‘Notebook’ computer to record and print an ‘Inspections Due’ report IN THE FIELD, as well as service information.  Daily Activity can also be entered and transferred to the office computer.  This eliminates clerical entry of data, and speeds reporting.

 

 

INSPECTION TRACKING

     TIME ACCOUNTING

 

The INSPECTION TRACKING - D.A.R.(Daily Activity Record) Module is used to record ALL time spent by an inspector at an establishment and for general time accounting,  e.g.  Vacation, Sick Leave,  Time Off, etc.

 

Once entered, the data can be processed into reports based on inspector, location or establishment type and date range.

 

PERMIT BILLING

 

ANNUAL PERMIT BILLINGS can be produced by program,  Child Care, Food, Housing, Pools, etc.,

Permits can be automatically printed for establishments.

 

 

REQUEST FOR SERVICE

COMPLAINT SYSTEM

 

The RFS/CS component is designed to track, report and abate complaints and requests for service against Tracked and Non-tracked establishments in SWEEPS®.

 

 

HANDLER / MANAGER CARD TRACKING

 

The ‘Certification Registration System’ tracks the information for and prints Handler / Manager training certification cards.  The CRS keeps track of Handler / Manager personnel by establishment.

 

 

DATA EXPORT

 

SWEEPS® data may be exported and used in ACCESS, EXCEL, Crystal Reports, and many other ‘Ad Hoc’ reporting programs as well as posting on the World Wide Web

Products Listed are Leased by an Annual Contract billed on a Monthly Basis. Charges are calculated based on the Number of Field Inspectors and Permitted Establishments. Monthly Lease Prices are determined by the size of the Agency and can range from $350 to $10,000 per month or more.

 

Maintenance, Repair and Support are all included in the Monthly Lease.
